Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku is an accomplished executive whose career in public service and corporate leadership is defined by institutional reform, operational efficiency, and people-centred leadership. She currently serves as Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (MahamaCares Initiative), bringing extensive experience in governance, strategic management, and stakeholder engagement to advance a national vision of equitable healthcare.

With a strong foundation in Human Resource Management, brand management, and strategic communications, Obuobia has guided organisations through transformational change, strengthened accountability, developed talent, and built trusted institutional reputations. Beyond her corporate career, she is the Founder of the Ignite Youth Empowerment Initiative, through which she has mentored and empowered hundreds of young women in leadership and personal development.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, master’s degrees in Brands and Communications Management and Public Relations, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing—underscoring her commitment to excellence, service, and impactful leadership in advancing national development.
