Who Does the Fund Support?
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund supports:
Ghanaian citizens who are insured under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS)
What Does the Fund Cover?
The Fund provides financial support to persons living with chronic non communicable diseases such as:
Heart Disease
Cancers
Kidney Disease
Stroke
Diabetes
NB: This support will be delivered through a phased implementation approach; in line with our mandate
Application Submission
Applications are submitted through a specialist using the prescribed format.
Decision & Notice
Applicants receive decision within 14 days, with notice from the Fund.
