2. A specialist assesses the patient and makes a referral to GMTF.
3. A patient navigation officer forwards the application to the GMTF Secretariat.
4. GMTF assesses the application and makes a decision.
5. Feedback is provided to the patient and referring specialist.
6. Where approval is granted, the patient returns to the specialist or designated facility for treatment.
