• Confirm that the facility is certified for the required service
• Avoid paying anyone who promises guaranteed approval
• Never share an NHIS One-Time Password with an unauthorised person
• Ask for an official receipt for every authorised payment
• Confirm any unexpected payment request with GMTF
• Report suspicious persons or messages to the Trust Fund
