Day Two: Strengthening Care, Expanding Hope at Holy Family Hospital, Techiman

Day Two of our ongoing needs assessment of selected referral facilities in the newly created regions took us to the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman.

A respected secondary health facility under CHAG, Holy Family Hospital delivers some of the finest specialized healthcare services not only to residents of the Bono East Region, but also to parts of the Bono, Ashanti, and Savannah Regions.

On average, the facility attends to about 750 OPD patients daily, underscoring its critical role in healthcare delivery in this part of the country.

Our visit focused on assessing the hospital’s facilities and exploring ways to build a seamless and impactful partnership between the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) and Holy Family Hospital.

The GMTF is fully committed and ready to work hand-in-hand with the hospital to strengthen capacity and extend quality, specialized care to Ghanaians battling chronic non-communicable diseases.

At the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, our focus is clear: we care, and we are here to make a difference.
